Budapest Select Exhibition Opens at Milan Design Week

The Budapest Select – Patterns of Being exhibition opened with a press day in Milan, where 26 designers and brands are presenting the diversity of contemporary Hungarian design through 65 works. Organised by Creative Hungary and led by curator Hanna Imre, with the spatial concept developed by VÜ Architects, the project reflects on the theme of this year’s edition of Milan Design Week, exploring how we shape the world that surrounds us, while the exhibition and accompanying programmes present Hungarian culture to the international public through music, dance, gastronomy, and object culture.

NUBU Unveiled New Collection in Bucharest

NUBU presented its AW2627 collection on a new international platform as part of the Budapest Central European Fashion Week exchange programme. The show titled “NUBU Presented by BCEFW” was featured in the Mercedes-Benz Bucharest Fashion Week’s official programme, offering highlighted visibility for the brand. Besides the positive professional reception of the collection, the participation also created a foundation for new international relations and collaborations.

26 Hungarian Creators Showcase at Milan Design Week

The Budapest Select – Patterns of Being exhibition will open at one of the world’s most important design events, in Milan’s 5VIE design district, from 21 to 26 April 2026, providing Hungarian product and object designers with an international showcasing opportunity. This year, the Budapest Select platform, brought to life by Creative Hungary, exhibits works by 26 Hungarian product designers and fine and industrial artists, presenting a diverse selection of contemporary Hungarian design through 65 objects.
