Since 2018, it has provided structured professional support to actors in the fashion, design, beauty and gaming sectors. Our mission is to help Hungarian creative enterprises become more competitive, strengthen their presence on international markets, and contribute to Hungary’s economic and cultural positioning.

17th Budapest Central European Fashion Week Kicks Off

The 17th edition of Budapest Central European Fashion Week (BCEFW) is underway, placing Budapest in the spotlight of the Central European fashion industry until 15 February with side events across the city and, in the second half of the week, with catwalk shows taking place at iconic venues. On the runway, besides the models, renowned fashion industry players, muses, and defining figures of the profession will also diversify the event, further elevating its exclusive atmosphere.

Hanna Imre Serves As Curator of the Hungarian Presence at Milan Design Week

The aim of the call for curatorial proposals for the collective Hungarian exhibition at Milan Design Week was to develop a concept that responds to the challenges of contemporary design and the current issues of the Hungarian creative scene. Launched by Creative Hungary under the motto Be the Project, the call sought to realise a contemporary, sustainable Hungarian presence that is also interpretable within an international context, under the Budapest Select umbrella brand. Based on the decision of the professional advisory board, Hungarian design brands will showcase at Milan Design Week through the curatorial vision of Hanna Imre, with works and narratives that enter into dialogue with one another.

The series aims to support domestic creative industry players in making more effective use of funding opportunities and to facilitate the sharing of grant-related experiences and best practices.

Creative Hungary Launches New Regional Creative Industry Award

The Central European Creative Awards highlight the most exceptional achievements of the Central European creative scene on an international stage, providing a unified platform for Hungarian and regional creators and brands that generate high added value. Entry is free, with submissions open until 26 February 2026. Launched by Creative Hungary, the award builds on the professional legacy of the Hungarian Design Award and recognises outstanding talents in the fashion, design, beauty, and gaming industries through a modern economic perspective and an expanded category structure.
