Budapest is becoming one of the most important meeting points in the Central European fashion scene once again in February. Budapest Central European Fashion Week (BCEFW) is returning with its seventeenth edition from 9 to 15 February 2026, to unveil the latest autumn–winter collections by the most exciting designers in Hungary and the region. Ticket sales will begin on 16 February 2026.

In the AW2627 season, Budapest will welcome designers from eight countries, alongside Hungary, including participants from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Slovenia, Serbia, Armenia, Romania, and Ukraine.

Fashion Week, organised by Creative Hungary (formerly the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency), has now grown far beyond a traditional runway event, connecting young talents, established brands, and regional professional players as an international platform. BCEFW continues to focus on talent management and regional collaboration, strengthening the position of Central European fashion in the long run.

This season, more than 40 fashion brands – 17 international and 24 Hungarian – will present their works in various presentation formats. The programme structure aims to offer creators a real development trajectory from career entry to international visibility while also providing opportunities for independent brand building and professional networking.

Supporting young creators is a core pillar of BCEFW. For this reason, collective showcases, individual presentations, and runway shows are structured to build on one another, helping designers to strengthen their professional presence step by step. The platform not only provides them with visibility but also an opportunity to create international connections and gain market feedback.

The main fashion shows will take place between 13 and 15 February. On Friday, the contemporary space of Apollo Gallery will provide a stage for the fresh visions of young designers, while on Saturday and Sunday, the presentations will continue in the iconic setting of the Museum of Fine Arts. During the weekend, the Fashion Hub will also be located here, alongside a showroom for resellers, offering the chance for professional and business meetings after the presentations.

BCEFW’s goal is to make fashion visible beyond the runways: during the week-long series of events, professional programmes, presentations, and public activities fill Budapest, bringing contemporary fashion closer to the city and everyday life.

Ticket sales start on 17 January 2026, and the detailed programme is available now.
