Five Hungarian furniture manufacturers will showcase their work at the Frankfurt Ambiente design and lifestyle trade fair between 6 and 10 February 2026, organised by Creative Hungary. The joint appearance under the Budapest Select umbrella brand draws the global professional audience’s attention to the innovative and internationally competitive Hungarian furniture manufacturing and lighting technology product design, while strengthening the export position of businesses, especially in German-speaking markets. The collective Hungarian exhibition will take place for the first time in the history of Ambiente, in line with domestic manufacturers’ international market-entry strategies.
Creative Hungary was founded in 2018 to support every actor in the fashion, design, furniture manufacturing, product design, interior design, game development and the beauty sector in an efficient and structured way. Considering international best practices, created the Budapest Select umbrella brand so that Hungarian products are more easily identifiable abroad.
During Ambiente 2026, Hungary’s leading furniture and lighting brands: Econor Design, KARA & CO., Loomiosa, Rotte Group, and YOZA present their products in the Interior Looks section, combining the traditions of Hungarian furniture making with timeless design, clean structures, and outstanding material expertise. Their objects reflect the over 150-year tradition of Hungarian furniture manufacturing, in which artisanal knowledge, high-quality industrial production, and an international design language have always gone hand in hand. This historical legacy became internationally recognised through the work of creators such as Marcel Breuer, who, through the spirit of the Bauhaus, made Hungarian design thinking visible on the global stage. .
The Hungarian brands – selected through an open application –, are presenting mass-producible product portfolios that offer relevant solutions for international markets in interior design, home furnishing, and the hospitality industry alike. The showcased products respond to contemporary lifestyle changes and the functional and environmental challenges of the 21st century, while being crafted to high standards of production and quality.
The exhibited brands are open to new manufacturing and market models as well as international professional collaborations, which can strengthen their presence in the global design and furniture scene in the long run.
Econor Design – Its mission is to give used materials a new life cycle and promote a circular approach. The brand’s design language is defined by geometric, solid elements and vibrant colours, providing their products with a fresh character.

What makes them special is that design and production are never separate; the final form is always shaped by practical experience.
