Extended introduction:
Econor Design is a Budapest based furniture studio led by a father–daughter team, combining experience and creativity to bring joy and colour to everyday spaces. Our furniture celebrates play, imagination, and the little moments that make communities feel alive — while delivering reliable, high-quality solutions for large-scale projects from recycled materials. Econor Design creates community furniture exclusively from recycled materials, featuring our patented recycled rigid polyurethane foam. Every piece is circular, waste-free, and engineered to keep materials in continuous use. A vision is the future we imagine for public spaces, where colour, play, and creativity bring communities together and every object has a lasting, circular life. Our mission is to challenge the belief that recycled materials are inferior. We prove that our sustainable materials can be used to create high-quality products without compromise.
Product descriptions:
Wave bench
Wave bench is a rethinking of circular furniture, built entirely around recycled materials. It features a 100% recycled rigid PUR foam core, recycled comfort foam, and upholstery made from repurposed PET bottles, resulting in a durable, repairable, and fully recyclable piece. Its gently undulating surface challenges the idea of a flat seat, offering comfortable support for users of different ages and body types. Modular and customisable in size, Wave can be arranged linearly, curved, or in playful clusters for both indoor and outdoor use. More than a bench, Wave proposes a new visual and material language for sustainable furniture.

More than a chair, it represents a vision of a responsible and aesthetically refined future.
BABÁK Collection – Hand-crafted Objects from Reclaimed Materials The BABÁK Collection is a series of hand-crafted side tables made from reclaimed shipping-container pallets. The industrial hardwood elements are block-pressed and then turned on a lathe to achieve their sculptural forms. The name BABÁK refers to the rounded, friendly silhouettes inspired by the Mathuka dolls familiar from the socialist era. The collection consists of five tables with varying proportions, united by a consistent visual language. Each piece features a recycled, heat-resistant stone top, making the tables practical for everyday use. The hand-applied, pigmented finish highlights the individuality and artisanal character of each object. The BABÁK Collection brings together sustainability, craftsmanship, and emotional resonance in contemporary design.

Easily movable, resizable, and reconfigurable, the elements adapt instantly to changing spatial and social needs, creating a seamless connection between technology, design, and human experience.
