Sándor Körei

ABOUT THE BRAND

Exhibited works place cut flowers and vases within glass constructions arranged in a strict, ordered structure. Translating the disciplined composition of classical still lifes into sculptural form, they reflect the duality of floral beauty and transience. The works remain open through processes: the passage of time and gradual decay become integral elements, inviting the viewer into a contemplative mode of observation.

In the exhibited works, the designer places cut flowers and vases within glass constructions arranged in a strict, regular order, translating the disciplined composition of classical still life into sculptural form, while reflecting on the duality between the beauty and the transience of flowers. The completion of the creations is not an endpoint: time and the slow process of decay become integral parts of the artwork, which the viewer can observe from a position of contemplation.
