Our business development and international market consultation programme continues this year, to which, since last year, beauty and gaming industry players have also been eligible to apply, alongside fashion and design industry businesses. The application period for the call, aimed at strengthening the export capabilities of creative industry businesses, has now successfully closed. Based on the evaluation carried out with the involvement of a professional advisory board, ADRIENNE FELLER was selected from the beauty industry, while Krausz High Tech Stone and sixay furniture joined the programme from the design sector.

Launched for the second time this year, the programme series aims to support industry businesses operating exclusively in Hungary in entering international markets, while helping companies already active abroad establish a sustainable long-term presence.

We developed the professional workshop series based on the potential in the Hungarian creative industry, incorporating sector feedback and international best practices. Accordingly, during the approximately two-month programme, participating companies first assess their organisational operations with expert support, including export processes, internal functions, and marketing strategy. This is followed by the development of a professional consultancy plan which focuses entirely on international expansion, covering marketing optimisation, strengthening digital presence, organisational development and the improvement of internal processes, as well as the creation of a sales handbook and the establishment of a sales system.

Alongside continuous professional mentoring, the businesses define their key development areas and the tasks required to achieve them. A series of ten workshops supports them in realising these goals.

We evaluated the applications received for the competition with an advisory board of industry experts. A key criterion in the selection process was that applicants possess an export-ready product and/or service, as well as the resources necessary to enter foreign markets. Based on the professional advisory board’s evaluation, three Hungarian businesses were selected to participate in the programme this year.

From the beauty industry, the ADRIENNE FELLER brand was selected, which was founded in 1999 by Adrienne Feller and Csaba Feller to introduce natural beauty care based on aromatherapy in Hungary. With a history spanning 35 years, the brand is built on expertise in herbal and natural healing, as well as rich family traditions. Its formulations are rooted in the plant culture of the Carpathian Basin, combining Hungarian thermal water, medicinal mud, and the PANNONESSENCE botanical complex. Adrienne Feller integrates traditional herbal knowledge with modern scientific cosmetology with a longevity-focused, conscious approach to beauty care.

From the design sector, Krausz High Tech Stone is taking part in the programme this year. Since 2014, the company has been developing and manufacturing high-tech, bespoke decorative concrete elements tailored to individual client needs. With its high-end architectural solutions for interiors, exteriors and gardens, it reinterprets the architectural possibilities of concrete. Its products are designed in-house through ongoing nanotechnology research and development, and manufactured using advanced concrete chemistry processes. As a result, they outperform traditional concrete elements in terms of strength, design, flexibility and sustainability. Its online presence, also targeting international markets, clearly reflects its export-oriented operations and strong industry integration.

Since its founding in 1995, sixay furniture has been designing and manufacturing solid wood designer furniture by hand, using natural finishing materials. The brand places strong emphasis on balancing functionality, ergonomics and aesthetics. Each piece is characterised by a high level of precision, finely crafted details, and perfectly smooth, silky surfaces. Its timeless products represent lasting value, with both visible and hidden details refined at the intersection of applied art and craftsmanship. The brand’s founder, László Szikszai, a wood industry engineer, has designed more than 150 models.
