Hungarian Beauty Brands Showcased at Global Trade Fair

The first joint appearance of Hungarian beauty industry brands at one of the world’s most significant professional events, the Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna trade fair, attracted outstanding professional interest. Organised by Creative Hungary, five Hungarian beauty brands – Adrienne Feller, Anna Harangvölgyi Skinnotech, CRÈEM, DRHAZI, and Ilcsi – presented their products to the audience under the Budapest Select umbrella brand.

Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna is a defining professional platform in the international beauty industry, attracting around 250,000 visitors annually. The fair, held from 26 to 28 March 2026, is a key meeting point for manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and service providers, showcasing the latest trends, innovations, and business opportunities.

 

The appearance under the Budapest Select umbrella, organised by Creative Hungary, had two objectives: to support the international business development of the participating Hungarian brands, and to increase the global visibility of the domestic beauty sector.

 

Interest in the collective stand remained high throughout the fair. On Thursday and Friday, primarily industry professionals – distributors, representatives of reseller networks, importers, cosmetics experts, and industry decision-makers – visited the stand. On Saturday, those interested in the latest beauty and self-care trends flocked to the booth. The majority of the professional audience came from Italy, the Central European region (particularly Poland and Romania) and the Far East. The Hungarian manufacturers held numerous meetings, several of which have already entered possible negotiation phases. The discussions were not limited to the beauty industry; active dialogues were launched with representatives from the pharmaceutical sector and other related industries, such as the packaging industry.

 

On the opening day of the exhibition, representatives of the Hungarian brands took part in a professional event organised in collaboration with the Hungarian Export Promotion Agency (HEPA). First, the manufacturers presented themselves to Italian professional organisations with the support of Melinda Czagány, Hungarian Consortium Coordinator of the Enterprise Europe Network. This was followed by a presentation of Gianfranca Ghiro, National President of the Beauty, Wellness, and Health Division of the Confederazione Nazionale dell’Artigianato, offering a comprehensive overview of the Italian beauty industry and the specific challenges of entering the Italian market. In addition, during the Bologna trade fair, other self-organised networking events allowed distributors to meet brand representatives in a relaxed and inspiring environment, while also personally trying products that combine Hungary’s rich herbal resources with modern scientific methods.

 

Beyond the collective appearance, several other Hungarian brands also participated in the trade fair, including Alveola, Florin, Geek & Gorgeous, HELIA-D, Kallos Cosmetics, and Keve Cosmetics, providing visitors with a detailed overview of the modern Hungarian beauty industry.
