KRAUSZ HIGH-TECH STONE LTD.

Why did you apply for the mentoring programme?

We want our company to continue evolving by exploring new challenges and opportunities — for example, in the field of AI — while also strengthening our presence in international markets. In this regard, the mentoring programme has proven particularly useful.

KRAUSZ produces high-quality architectural and design products made from uniquely developed concrete. How did the idea of manufacturing concrete elements using a new approach originate?

Based on market feedback highlighting common problems and shortcomings of concrete, we began conducting research and then developed our own know-how to address these issues.

Could you tell us a bit about the raw materials and the manufacturing processes?

Producing very high-quality concrete requires the use of iron-free aggregates, which is why we work with extremely pure raw materials from the glass industry. In addition, we apply the most advanced shrinkage-compensation technology available worldwide. We source cement and other additives internationally, carefully selecting the most suitable materials for each specific task. Measurements are carried out with gram-level precision, which ensures consistent quality.

How is sustainability reflected in your manufacturing activities?

We recycle printed circuit boards and industrial ceramics in our specialised concrete formulations. In addition, we use Roman cement in certain areas — a practice that is unique in our field.

Which is your most distinctive product?

One of our key strengths is the production of flat panels with no warping: we are capable of producing panels up to 3 metres in length with a thickness of 2 cm, which do not shrink, thereby retaining their shape and preventing warping.

What did you learn during the mentoring programme?

Several areas proved particularly valuable for us. In the field of AI, we received advice tailored to our specific needs. Web development guidance also provided valuable direction — and I would also highlight the identification of potential customers, which is crucial for the growth of our business, as these two areas will require coordinated development on our part in the future. Entering foreign markets was perhaps the most beneficial aspect, as we are currently preparing for expansion, and we received a great deal of confirmation and practical advice. The lecture on intellectual property protection also provided valuable insights.

Which brands or partner companies are you currently working with, and have any new partnerships been established through the mentoring programme?

We currently collaborate with a foreign partner company, a landscape construction contractor, with whom we have already participated in exhibitions, although full-scale collaboration has not yet commenced. During individual consultations on international market entry, we received a great deal of useful information on identifying and selecting partner companies, and as a result, we have reconsidered our strategy. Looking ahead, we are optimistic and are already considering several potential partners.

What are your plans following the mentoring programme, and how do you intend to utilise what you have learned?

We have started to redesign our websites, and we have also made progress in entering foreign markets, continuing according to the defined action plan. During the individual consultations, we received excellent guidance, which we now need to integrate into our existing systems over the coming weeks, and in some cases make adjustments to work already underway.
