Fanni Hegyi
Fanni Hegyi is an interdisciplinary artist exploring material and immaterial dimensions through spatial relationships and interactions. Based on her background in architecture and social sciences, she creates connections between her work and the audience. Metalwork, patination, and light art are central to her practice. She primarily creates site-specific installations, which can be either temporary or permanently integrated.
ABOUT THE EXHIBITED OBJECTS
MIST [LAB]
The MIST collection consists of three patinated sheets of brass and copper. The patina layer displays a softly blended pattern, and its bright, vibrant colors harmonize with the metal surface. The collection is part of the LAB series, which explores the balance between the natural process of patina formation and human intervention. The pieces serve both as artworks and as the basis for large-scale installations, showcasing the limitless possibilities of form, color, and texture development.
SOL [LAB]
The SOL collection consists of three patinated brass sheets. The patina layer creates a softly contrasting pattern, while the wavy forms of the three elements harmoniously connect with each other.
