CUKOVY was born in 2014 in Budapest, Hungary, as a modern outerwear brand that blends modularity, playfulness, and bold design.

THE DESIGNER
Lucia Grande is a Milan-based fashion designer originally from Naples, currently serving as Head Designer at CUKOVY. A graduate of NABA – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, Lucia brings a refined, contemporary edge to her work, shaped by a rich background in menswear design.
Her professional journey spans key roles at renowned brands including Palm Angels, Diesel, and Philipp Plein, where she honed her bold and distinctive aesthetic. Since 2022, she has also worked as a freelance designer in Milan, further exploring her creative range.
In September 2020, she was awarded the YKK Award, issued by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, in recognition of her design innovation.
Lucia’s design language reflects a balance between technical precision and expressive silhouettes, making her a dynamic force in modern fashion.

Cukovy asserts itself as a necessary and authentic protagonist in today’s landscape. The collection is bold and playful, deeply exploring its expressive potential.
Cukovy is renowned for its modular down jackets and playful accessories that perfectly blend high fashion with functionality. The ability to layer and adapt each piece to different styles, weather conditions, and personal tastes guarantees a sense of exclusivity, while also offering innovation and protection for a modern lifestyle.
Durability is fundamental to Cukovy. The brand uses high-quality Italian fabrics, RDS-certified feathers, and water-repellent materials, providing a sustainable yet elegant solution for those seeking conscious choices without sacrificing comfort or aesthetics. Every piece is carefully crafted in Europe, reflecting a commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
At the heart of the brand’s identity are two key concepts: playfulness and lovability. Our designs are meant to be fun and lighthearted, able to convey a sense of carefreeness and not taking themselves too seriously. At the same time, we want every garment to be lovable and engaging, capable of embracing joy and making the wearer feel free to express themselves with ease and authenticity.
The collection’s title itself reflects the intention to play with volumes, padding, and soft shapes, iconic elements that have always defined the Hungarian brand’s aesthetic. The concept is rooted in Adaptive Design and Modularity: continuous deconstruction and reconstruction that opens the way to new solutions, shapes, and geometries, mirroring the fluid and dynamic evolution of contemporary fashion.
The result is a cocoon-like aesthetic, enveloping and voluminous, like a warm embrace that offers both physical and emotional protection. At the same time, the collection reveals a slightly provocative soul, suggesting transformation and renewal.
The collection features a warm and reassuring palette, with shades of cocoa, cream, and deep burgundy, enriched by teal, forest green, burnt earth, moss, and faded gold. It reinvents traditional garments such as trenches, military shapes, combining new cuts and technologies with global and ethnic influences, merging kimono with occidental tailoring femminine.
The volumes are bold yet functional, designed to promote movement without sacrificing warmth and a cool, effortless attitude. They tell the story of an active, ironic, and desirable winter, free from gender codes; where functionality dresses itself in romantic pop poetry. The proportions are fluid, in a journey through diverse functions and lengths.
Prints, always a starting point for the brand, take on a more mysterious tone this FW: flower camo that weave romanticism and suspension, evoking an intimate connection with nature through natural textures that are suggestive without being overly figurative.
