CÉZÉ is a Budapest-based brand creating design objects where formal decisions, structural logic, and materiality are equal elements. Beyond their utility, these pieces represent an autonomous aesthetic quality. CÉZÉ approaches furniture as a distinct visual phenomenon, where raw metal and precise proportions define the object’s presence in a space.
ABOUT THE DESIGNER
János Gyuricza
János Gyuricza, designer and founder of CÉZÉ, completed his studies at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME), the UMPRUM Academy of Arts, Architecture & Design in Prague, and the University of Pécs (PTE). His approach to object design is rooted in his architectural background and his collaborations across the fine and applied arts. His work focuses on industrial materiality, structural honesty, and the physical presence of the object.

The Let the metal speak! series focuses on the inherent character of the material; here, metal is not merely a structure, but an evolving, patinating visual quality. Restrained, precise proportions act as reference points, where structural logic and conceptual clarity appear as equal partners.
