Creative Lab is Creative Hungary’s renewed incubation program, offering comprehensive professional and financial support for Hungarian creative industry distributors. Building on the successes of the former design LAB, the program now covers a broader range of sectors: beyond design, fashion, and furniture design, beauty-industry and formulation-based innovations are also included in the support framework. Its goal is to foster collaboration between distributors and creative professionals to develop competitive, production-ready products that can succeed even on international markets.
The program guides participants from concept creation and prototype development through production preparation all the way to market launch, offering between HUF 5 million and HUF 50 million in non-refundable funding. Selection criteria include functionality, aesthetic quality, sustainability, and connection to Hungarian creative heritage.
Creative Lab aims to operate a unified development model that strengthens the innovation potential and market competitiveness of Hungary’s creative industries in the long term.
