Creative Forum, the knowledge-based, interdisciplinary series of Creative Hungary (formerly the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency), continues with a grant-writing workshop and a presentation on the structure and operation of direct EU funding schemes. The event complements last year’s end-of-year programme of the series, which primarily focused on market-based financing models, startup logic, and venture capital raising. This time, those interested will gain insight into sustainable international collaborations and structured EU funding systems.
At the sixth event, titled “Sustainable Creative Collaborations and Funding”, entrepreneurs will gain a comprehensive overview of direct EU funding schemes, with a special focus on calls for the creative and cultural sectors.
The keynote speaker of the event will be Anna Isola, Senior Advisor at the Hungarian Development Promotion Office and Head of its Veszprém Representation, who has more than a decade of experience in developing international cultural collaborations. In her presentation, she will outline how EU funding mechanisms operate, the role of culture and the creative industries within the European Union, and the available grant opportunities, with special emphasis on the Creative Europe Programme, its main objectives and eligibility conditions.
In the second half of the event, an interactive workshop led by Judit Gyurcsán, EU Project Evaluator at the Hungarian Development Promotion Office, will provide participants with the opportunity to discuss their project ideas and review specific calls for proposals.
A key objective of the series is to support the development of Hungary’s creative industries and enhance the competitiveness of businesses; accordingly, the event will conclude with an opportunity for participants to consult personally with the speakers.
