NUBU presented its AW2627 collection on a new international platform as part of the Budapest Central European Fashion Week exchange programme. The show titled “NUBU Presented by BCEFW” was featured in the Mercedes-Benz Bucharest Fashion Week’s official programme, offering highlighted visibility for the brand. Besides the positive professional reception of the collection, the participation also created a foundation for new international relations and collaborations.
Over the past few years, Mercedes-Benz Bucharest Fashion Week has become a promising fashion event in the region, which consciously builds its international network. The event’s goal is to connect designers with buyers, the international media, and industry players, enabling participating brands to not only receive professional feedback but also appear in a relevant context from a business perspective.
NUBU’s participation is part of a long-term, consistent international development effort. Led by Judit Garam, the brand has been shaping its refined, functional, and conceptual world for over a decade, built on slow fashion, sustainable material use, and timeless design. Recently, the brand also debuted in the official Milano Fashion Week programme in the exclusive Rinascente, successfully participated in the Tranoi trade fair during Paris Fashion Week, and appeared in Dubai under the Budapest Select umbrella brand.
Since its establishment, BCEFW has developed international strategic partnerships to provide Hungarian brands with genuine opportunities for international exposure. Thanks to the Bucharest collaboration, a Hungarian designer had the opportunity to participate in the Mercedes-Benz Bucharest Fashion Week for the third time. KATA SZEGEDI was the first invited brand, followed by BORBALA, and this season, NUBU represented Hungarian fashion.
NUBU’s Bucharest show is a good example of BCEFW’s endeavour to position Hungarian brands on internationally relevant platforms. The successful appearance not only strengthens the brand’s further international expansion but also helps Hungarian fashion gain an increasingly prominent presence on the global stage.
