The Budapest Select umbrella brand, created by the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency (HFDA), returns to Dubai this November with a two-day showcase presenting the excellence of Hungarian design to the Middle East. Between 12–13 November, visitors to The Edit, Alserkal Avenue can explore a curated showroom and accompanying events highlighting how Hungarian designers redefine contemporary luxury through craftsmanship, innovation, and cultural depth.

Rooted in the heritage of the Carpathian Basin, Hungarian creativity has evolved at the crossroads of cultures, blending centuries-old craft traditions with modern design thinking. This duality lies at the heart of Budapest Select, a collective platform that unites Hungary’s most distinctive fashion brands under one recognizable identity, offering an authentic perspective on Central European design.

 

In Dubai, Budapest Select presents eight fashion brands — AANRO, CUKOVY, HOFFMANN D’OR, KATA SZEGEDI, METAMORPH, NANUSHKA, NUBU and THEFOUR — whose Spring/Summer 2026 collections showcase the precision, artistry and originality that define Hungarian fashion today. From timeless tailoring and modular outerwear to sculptural jewellery and conceptual womenswear, each brand reflects a balance between restraint and experimentation, tradition and transformation.

 

As the organizer of Budapest Central European Fashion Week (BCEFW) — the leading fashion event in the region — HFDA has built strong international connections, often welcoming Dubai-based editors and influencers to Budapest. Over the past five years, Budapest Select has hosted more than 25 international showcases featuring over 80 Hungarian brands, positioning Budapest as a sustainable, forward-looking design capital where the heritage of Central Europe meets the language of contemporary luxury.
